Cross our palms with sliver. We mean silver. Oh, forget it. Those of you with the gift of clairvoyance will already know that Saturday 5th September is WiSH’s Get Well Mystic night at Gramaphone. This update is for the mere mortals.

Downstairs our special guest is our old friend Raymundo Rodriguez. Raymundo is one of the hardest working DJ’s around. He is Jaded’s main resident and has also held regular guest slots around the UK, Italy and Eastern Europe. Ray will also be reading tea leaves, palms and predicting the arrival of a handsome stranger at the decks. The Great Raymundo will be joined by The Great Bear (Kath Harding). Watch her ‘plough’ through her massive record bag full of her best tunes. VJ Mystic Kev (Hobbyboy) will be showing you the whole of the moon.

Upstairs we will be shuffling our tarot cards and dealing out The Fool (Sean Hewson), The Magician (Sarah Malinky) and The High Priestess (Holestar). Holestar has played at all the muckiest clubs in London such as Dalston Superstore, Punk and Egg and left a mess of her own at her nights Let’s Get Quizzical and Hot Mess. Her dj sets run the gauntlet of trashy pop, electro, classic disco with the odd indie and kitsch favourite thrown in. You will want to be in the room as these three great planets align.

We have a funny feeling in our water that the doors will be opening at 9pm.
