A newcomer to London in 2008, Selective Pressure began at Old Street’s finest kept secret-japanese bar ‘Life’. Residents Lookleft + Bearight specialises in house-based music with influences from the scene in New York as well as the emerging area and flourishing artists of Frankfurt in Germany. They play regularly with Holic’s very own Tomoki Tamura at the END/AKA, Cafe 1001, and for Hi-Tek Soul at Ministry of Sound. The crowd-pleasing two never fail to move the dance floor and is set to play a special set in occasion for their first move to Gramaphone! Alongside them is Kristoff Axelson, also a fellow Selective Pressure member coming from Chicago bringing you a fine selection of tracks that’ll get you groovin’. Kris plays a strange yet wonderful set every time he gets behind the booth so make sure you catch his set. Kojun S + Baad Pitt are a tag-team set to provide you a warm and soulful selection of house with hip hop elements running though, to set the party right! Lastly we have special guest Olivier Traverso, a tech-n-house head with over 15 years playing experience across the globe with the likes of Pacman, Laurent Garnier, Jennifer Cardini, Layo, and may more. Olivier will be taking over the decks into the early hours to destroy the dance floor with big tracks! Come and have a boogie and enjoy our selective range of fine music! We hope to see you there!
This party is brought to you by Selective Pressure in harmony with the Japan Society of University of London.
