DEVIATION SESSION #27 - WEDNESDAY 10th FEBRUARY 2010
Come join us for the first Deviation session of 2010.
The best midweek session in London returns.
Deviation is back on Wednesday 10th February, returning to the Gramaphone basement with Resident DJ Benji B, MC Judah and special guest
Mala.
We’ve wanted Mala to play at Deviation for sometime and look forward to his special bass heavy set in the Gramaphone basement.
One of the deepest, most soulful, and influential names in Dubstep, Mala has been producing since early 2000. One of the most in demand DJs of the genre due to his distinctive spiritual sound and deep production, Mala is also responsible for the seminal club night and record label DMZ alongside Coki and Loefah. As well as running
DMZ, he produces under
Digital Mystikz with Coki and has released on the most forward thinking record labels including Tempa, Hyperdub and Soul Jazz Records. While also running the his own record label
Deep Medi Musik, home to the likes of Silkie, Mizz Beats, Quest, Goth Trad and seen releases from Skream, Harry Craze, Loefah, Hijack, Kromestar and Coki.
Resident DJ Benji B will be holding down the decks for the rest of the session alongside host MC Judah spinning some Deviation classics and plenty of fresh music for 2010.
As always we anticipate this to be a busy session - so please arrive early to avoid disappointment on the door.
See you on the dancefloor…
