Crooked Use is a new night aiming to bring you the best in Drum & Bass/ Dubstep regardless of any sub-genre prejudice, it’s all music yes!? It launches in the heart Londons clubland of Shoreditch at club Gramaphone!
-
DJ Fierce, heads the line-up, the label boss of the might Quarantine records. Fierce is a DJ who takes things seriously, tight mixing and energetic performances have become as much his trademark as the heavyweight twisted beats that labels such as Quarantine put out.
-
DJ Bailey is pretty much a household name after being in the scene for years and having one of the most popular dnb radio shows around through his slot on 1Xtra. This man plays only proper drum n bass regardless of what type. Expect nothing less that the best
-
Ill Logic & Raf are two producers who have had releases on labels from Metalhedz and Ebony through to their recent album on Bingo. These guys have a leaning towards deep soulful dnb, with a jazzy touch. If you don’t know about them then you need to come and check.
-
Rounding off the line-up we have a set from London scene regulars Mr Joseph b2b Izzy, part of the successful Fizzy nights and now with their own record label (Fizzy beats) to boot, these two will just lay down whatever party vibe they feel is right.
-
Last but no way least are a 3-piece crew making rapid ascension in the dubstep world. As well as clocking up regular 12” releases Soul Sinners have an album out soon on the mighty Dubstar label.
-
Round this off with 4 mc’s that know the music is the star of the show and have between them have covered events such as Hardware, Rupture, Sudden Def and Sun & Bass things are gonna be kept nice and right till the end of the night. MC’s Blackeye, Deefa, K-Eye & Cliché.
