The night will showcase talent from the forthcoming label and leading UK and worldwide artists that fit the tech house and minimal groove music policy.

A launch night in Frankfurt is soon to follow featuring local artists signed to the SAVE YOU RECORDS and local techno talent at a leading venue.

Artists

Carlow Fable: The new alias for one of the hardest working men in the house Business, Carl Hanaghan. Having worked at Cr2, Data Records and now Defected Carl knows a thing or two about house. His worldwide residency with Hed Kandi has seen him headline the worlds biggest clubs including Space Ibiza and Cocoon Frankfurt. Carlow Fable is his opportunity to play and produce music closer to his heart – underground tech and deep house.

Dead Echo: ‘Dead Echo is a combined effort from Adam Firman and Romantic Torture’s Rob Bradley. Adam is better known on the techno scene as IAMAMF having recently been brought to the forefront of underground techno with a well received remix of Marc Ashken’s ‘Just a Groove’. Rob Bradley has been involved in the more over ground techno scene holding residencies at both Turnmills and Ministry of Sound with label Mass Recordings. As Romantic Torture he has remixed current darling’s of London house ‘Filth and Splendour’ and has a new remix soon to be out for Germany’s Marc Fisher on Mass Recordings, Marc has worked with everyone from Steve Angello to Superfunk.

Dead Echo combines IAMAMF’s love of the more leftfield with Rob Bradley’s big room experience to create a deep sophisticated house sounds that has an underground feel but remain accessible. Dead Echo’s first E.P will release at the end of March 2010 as SAVE YOU RECORD’S first release with remix work from Frankfurt’s 102 nd century and Carlow Fab

IAMAMF: IAMAMF has been on the House & Techno scene for many years now but it is only in the last 3-4 that he has come to produce himself. After joining forces with MarcAshken to remix the “JustAGroove EP” alongside other artists including Miro Pajic, Donk Boys, Lee Foss, Saso Recycd, Alex Cappelli/Leonardo Pannelli & Pawas he got to working with FVF records (myspace.com/fvfrecords)    on his first release, which is currently underway to be put out later this year. As well as this he has also teamed up with Alexx Wolfe, who’s record label “Sui Genirez” (myspace.com/suigenerizrecords) will be releasing it’s first compilation EP entitled “konverge 1.0″ featuring “IAMAMF - Dis-continued” as the opening track.

IAMAMF prides himself on his interwoven combination of off-beat rhythms, quirky kicks, trippy vocals and catchy synths and a clear reflection of his style is always portrayed well on any dance floor.

102nd Century:

The work of 102nd Century is inspired by long nights out dancing to techno in the late nineties, in clubs like U60311 in Frankfurt.. Driving techno beats still form the solid basis of their tracks
although the tempo has slowed. Consciously the project is kept away from the recently overproduced copycat tracks and have their own unique sound. The music of Nils and Jan stands out with it’s use of subtle and atmospheric sounds supported by infectious deep rhythms. Sampled sounds like the Klezmer sample used in j-string for example, alternate with synthesized sounds, which in addition to the sound design, creates danceable music coupled with bizarre emotionality. When you see these guys perform you can clearly see they love what they do and this energy is directly transmitted to the dance floor.Nils started Djing in 2000 and at around the same time Jan bought his first sampler. They both starting gigging at similar times and soon were playing at the same parties. They soon got to know each other and realised they shared a similar vision of what a party soundtrack should sound like. So in 2002 they started collaborating as party hosts and established a monthly techno party at a venue near Mainz. The next step beckoned and so, inspired by their love of the same music and the urge to compose their own tracks they set up their first studio.

Nils started playing the fruits of their hard work in his sets and the reaction they received encouraged the guys to take it to the live stage. This live act has since played gigs such as Brückenkopf Mainz, the Waldschall festival and the infamous 311 Club in Frankfurt. In addition to live and DJ gigs the Mainz based producers had their first official release on Overdrive in 2008. They were then asked to remix Mandis and Durden for Komplex Audio and followed this up in 2009 with 102nd century’s first EP again released on Overdrive. Their recent signing to UK’s SAVE YOU RECORDS is a big step towards them building on the respect they have in their own country and having worldwide notoriety.

Save You Records:

Save You Records is the new home for those deep, techy and “ooooo, let me hear that one more time” house and techno tracks that save us from the repetitive and mundane. Save You Records is all about having an open and honest platform for emerging and established artists to distribute music that is true to them and us. Music to Save You is our mantra and you will be saved on a dance floor near you soon.

Label genre and positioning:

Techno and house still rule the underground club scene in London. Most of this scene is based out in the fashionable East End regions such as Shoreditch, Brick Lane and Hoxton with growing scene emerging in SE1. The minimal techno scene that ruled the mid to late naughties has now faded with a groove led techno and straight up house being heard at the leading club nights. SAVE YOU RECORDS will feature artists well known on this scene both in the UK and Worldwide.
